Although it would be wonderful to be able to recommend accommodations within walking distance to the workshop site at 52 Broadway, we are reluctant to do so because most all of these hotels are very expensive, starting at $350 a night.  (We can provide you with a list of these if you like, however).

For the summer months especially, it is wise to inquire if the hotel you are seeking has air-conditioning.

In general, hotel prices are less expensive in January, February, and March.

The following is a listing of accommodations from hostels and the YMCA (shared rooms and baths) to reasonably priced hotels, all within a short walking distance to public transportation that will take you to the Workshop location in Lower Manhattan. There are many other accommodations available in the New York City area.

For those interested in a quieter place to repair after the workshop, consider the following B&B on Staten Island: from the hotel, it's one block to catch a bus for a short 10 minute bus ride to reach the Staten Island Ferry Terminal and then a beautiful (free) ferry ride to the Ferry Terminal in Lower Manhattan which is only a short walk to our workshop site. The ferry ride takes about 20 minutes and runs 24 hours a day:
